K’oda Skin understands that living beings are one with nature.

We are all part of nature, and we at K’oda Skin aim to enhance the powers of nature, within and without. K’oda Skin products work with skin’s natural connection to the organic world, fostering an optimal environment for lasting skin health.

The Amharic word for “nature” is “tefet’iro” ተፈጥሮ. Tefet’iro also describes that which makes up our physical and spiritual selves. With this Ethiopian concept of natural oneness, K’oda Skin was born.

K’oda Skin values process as much as product.

“K’oda” ቆዳ (Amharic for “skin”) is the largest organ, and the only organ that weathers direct exposure to external stressors at all times. Everything in our environment that comes in contact with k’oda, from toxicants in the air and water, to chemicals in cosmetics, inevitably enters our systems. K’oda Skin provides products that are safe and gentle on skin, and are clean and respectful of tefet’iro.

We source ingredients from farmers dedicated to organic and holistic farming practices. K’oda Skin recognizes that responsible production practices and operations are key to enduring global ecological health. Ingredients in personal products not only affect k’oda, but also flow through communal water systems, impacting people and planet.

K’oda Skin offers products and regimens that, when combined with a diet rich in whole foods and plenty of clean water, curate the best environment for skin, body, and tefet’iro to thrive.

K’oda Skin empowers Ethiopian culture.
